On 25th April 2019, Sri Mawar Primary School participated in Public Speaking Level 2 (Divisional Level) competition which was organised by SK Jalan Bintang, Miri.  The school was represented by Joanne Lee Wen Ai, Year Six, who was trained by Teacher Phoebe and Teacher Brenda.  Joanne Lee delivered her 5 minutes speech entitled “Enough is enough, take climate actions now” and her impromptu speech entitled “My best friend”.  She won the 3rd place in the interschools Public Speaking Competition (Divisional level).
